STILTON PATÉ RECIPE

A great family favourite that is always a winner at buffet-style celebrations. 

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 225g good quality Stilton
  • 100ml double cream
  • 25ml whisky
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • Water biscuits

Chef's tip: add a dollop of this pâté to your steak for a burst of flavour.

Method

Pour the cream over the Stilton in a mixing bowl, gently mash until soft then add a pinch of salt and pepper. 

Fold in the whisky and place the mixture in ramekins.

Serve as a rich starter with water biscuits or toast.
